  • Step 1

    Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a medium/high heat. Add the chicken thighs skin side down and cook until the skin is well browned all over. Turn and brown the other side.

    Whilst the chicken is browning, roughly chop the onion, cauliflower and cabbage and slice the garlic. Arrange in the base of the crockpot and then nestle the browned chicken thighs on top.

    Add the stock, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high for 2.5-3 hours or until the chicken is completely cooked through. Serve hot.

    I thought this was very good and I do like bland. I did also chop 1/2 a vedalia onion in it in place of the small red one

      Because of previous comments, I use extra spice even though I like bland. I also used a 1/2 cup of chopped Vidalia onion and I thought it was very good.

        Super super super bland!! Even with extra seasoning. I was the only one who mildly liked it

          Needs more seasoning, so I added fresh thyme.
