Keto Cinnamon Roll Fat Bomb

24 ratings

These cinnamon roll fat bombs taste like the real deal. They are made with creamy cream cheese, toasted pecans, cinnamon and collagen peptides for an extra nutritional boost. Keep them stored separately on a sheet tray or freeze them first before storing as they have a soft texture.

They look AMAZING, but one bomb exceeds the RDA for someone susceptible to heart disease per the ADA (9g per day). I don't understand how these can be healthy. Can someone please explain? Thank you.

Thank you for the somewhat unkind reply. Believe me, I understand keto completely. What I don't understand is why people are willing to jeopardize their health by eating all the saturated fat? MCT, perhaps okay, coconut, maybe. And I guess it's not really my business whether someone wants to eat clean keto or dirty keto. I just want to be able to find good clean keto recipes, but they're hard to find. Thank you for trying to help me understand though.

What is the ultimate icing replacement?

    • Kimariesings

I believe it is just the Swerve confectioners sugar.

There is no reason to get fat from anything other than these. So easy so good

I replaced the collagen peptides with chocolate protein powder. I also did not make the icing. After mixing all the ingredients together I put them into silicone molds and then put them in the freezer. Afterwards, popped them out and put them in a container in the fridge for easy access. Overall, I think they're pretty good.

I made these but didn't use collagen peptides. I put the cream in the bombs and sprinkled some confectioners sugar and cinnamon on top.

I just made these and stuck them in the fridge and now realize the 1 tbsp cream was to make the icing 🙄 I guess mine will have 2 tbsp cream.

The recipe yields 24 and we're supposed to have 3/4 portion does that mean we eat 18 in a sitting?

Ok recipe is a little confusing (where do I get the icing ingredients after I mixed all ingredients together?) but if your sweet tooth has been crying this is the recipe for you! I LOVE this stuff! I literally licked the bowl clean….

@Julienamana, I think you are correct and funny have to triple your nutrient counts. I haven’t tried this recipe yet but I was doing the calculations and it seems that the actual serving size is a tablespoon not a teaspoon. There are 48 teaspoons of cream cheese in an 8 ounce block. There are 16 tablespoons in an 8 ounce block but you have to keep in mind you’re adding another half a cup of nuts and various other things so I’m pretty sure it’s a tablespoon per serving. Besides I’ve never seen a 1 teaspoon cookie ball scoop. The smallest one I have is a tablespoon.

Love these, I used crushed walnuts rather than pecans. Delish

Fat bombs aren't cooked generally, you take these and freeze them and then you can place in a bag for snacking. The freezing keeps them fresh and prevents them from sticking together

I couldn't find a teaspoon scooper. The scooper I do have is probably a tablespoon. Can I use a teaspoon to scoop it out? Also, when I went to look for the ultimate icing sugar replacement I couldn't find anything that's icing I just found the ultimate sugar replacement. Is that the same thing?

"Icing" sugar replacement is the same as "confectioners" or "powdered." If you can't find anything with any of those names, you can grind the regular (granular) form in a coffee grinder to turn it into powder (which is what the icing/confectioners form is). If you grind your own, give the powder time to settle before removing the grinder lid or you likely will end up with that delightful fine powdered sugar everywhere! 😉

If you use a Tbl scoop triple the nutrition info for each bomb. Should work, but that's pretty big.

This recipe list shows pecans as an ingredient but my filter was for no tree nuts and no peanuts. I would like to see this fixed. Thank you!

Wait... "1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth." "3. Combine the icing ingredients and drizzle over the fat bombs." Then what are the icing ingredients? If I follow the first step, there are no ingredients left to make into icing. Huh???

So, is the 1 Tbl of Heavy cream & the 1/4 c of Swerve Ultimate Icing sugar replacement the ingredients for the icing? Or do they go into the Fat Bombs?

Heavy cream and swerve. Icing is usually milk and sugar.
