The Best Keto Smoothie Recipe

The best Keto smoothie recipe should be full of antioxidants, protein, healthy fats, and be low in net carbs. So we developed a recipe containing all those attributes! Our easy-to-make smoothie is made with ripe avocado, frozen mixed berries, non-dairy milk, pasteurized egg whites, and some sweetener. Feel free to use any sweetener you would like especially if you are on a Paleo diet and would like to use a natural sweetener like honey (and can afford a few extra carbs).

Can I use frozen avocado?

We like the taste of fresh avocado, but feel free to use frozen avocado too. Using all frozen fruits and vegetables in a smoothie will ensure it stays cool and creamy.

Do I have to use unsweetened almond milk?

No, feel free to use any variety of low carb milk that suits your taste. You can also use coconut milk to add even more healthy fats to the smoothie.

What is the best equipment to blend a smoothie?

We like to use a high-powered blender, but you can also use a handheld blender or small bullet-style blender.
