Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Burrito

It’s just so crazy it might work: combining two favorite meals into one. Bacon cheeseburger, meet burrito! This Keto burrito recipe is made with seasoned ground beef with melted cheddar cheese. Crispy bacon is paired with simple lettuce and tomato inside a Keto tortilla wrap. A “special sauce” is added to the burrito too. Eat this filling burrito for a meal prep lunch or dinner and use this recipe as a starting point. Types of Keto wraps you can use

If you’re going to use a Keto tortilla purchased from a grocery store, most Keto brands make tortillas between 4g-6g net carbs each. For a wrap with fewer carbs, look for Keto cheese wraps or make your own cheese tortilla in the oven. For the least amount of carbs, layer multiple lettuce leaves on top of each other to wrap your bacon cheeseburger burrito.

Other ingredients to add

Other cheeseburger ingredients you may want to add to your burrito are chopped dill pickles or thin-sliced red onion. Some more classic burrito ingredients you can include in a Keto burrito are salsa, sour cream, avocado, or guacamole. Pickled jalapeno slices would work well here too.     Season ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat, then add the ground beef. Break up the ground beef in the pan while it browns.

    When the ground beef is cooked through and broken up into small pieces, reduce the heat to a low setting. Add shredded cheddar over the beef, and let it melt. Stir the beef and cheese together to help the cheese melt so the ingredients mix.

    Arrange a Keto tortilla wrap of choice on a plate, and add the cheesy beef to one side of the tortilla. Wipe your pan clean and use the same pan to cook the bacon until it’s crispy. Add the crispy bacon slices on top of the beef in your wrap.

    Add shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes to the wrap. Stir together mayonnaise and ketchup in a small dish, then drizzle it over the wrap ingredients. Wrap up your burrito and enjoy.
