The Best Keto Air Fryer Donuts

10 ratings

Keto air fryer recipes are always fun to make! These fluffy and delicious Keto air fryer donuts are easy to make and require no deep-frying whatsoever, as they are baked in the air fryer. They also require minimal prep and taste just like regular sugar coated ones. If, however, you skip the cinnamon in the batter and sugar coating, you will get a basic donut recipe you can then frost according to your taste. This can be very useful if you decide to prepare several batches of donuts that you can then store and eat whenever you like. These tender Keto donuts will go perfectly with your morning coffee or an afternoon tea. They are definitely among the best air fryer recipes you'll try.

Can I bake them in the oven?

Yes, you can bake these donuts in the oven. However, you will have to adjust the baking time. Depending on the size of your donut molds, you will have to bake them somewhere between 22-28 minutes or until golden brown.

Can I replace almond flour?

You can replace almond flour with sunflower seed flour. The taste will be slightly different but still very good.

How to store these donuts?

You can store them in airtight containers for a few days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  • Step 1

In a large bowl, add the almond flour, erythritol, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated. Make sure to break up any lumps.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

Crack the eggs into another bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium speed, beat well until light and foamy. Add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Continue to beat until completely combined. Slowly, add the dry mixture and continue to beat on medium speed until fully incorporated. This should take about 3 minutes.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Preheat the air fryer to 320°F/175°C. Transfer the batter into the silicone donut molds, filling them ¾ of the way. Bake for 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you will probably have to bake donuts in several batches. When done, remove the donuts from the air fryer basket. Cool completely before removing the donuts from the silicone molds.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the erythritol and cinnamon. Gently brush each donut with the melted butter and roll in the cinnamon mixture to coat. Optionally, adjust the cinnamon according to your taste.

Serve the donuts immediately or store them for later. These easy donuts are a wonderful snack or an afternoon treat. They are perfect with your favorite Keto coffee or tea recipe.

I'm so glad to have this handy little recipe. I replaced the yogurt with sour cream and also replaced the cinnamon and vanilla extract with almond extract to give it a Scandinavian flair. Instead of cinnamon sugar on the outside I used a square of Lindt 90% chocolate to make a ganache with a little butter and cream. After dipping the donuts in the chocolate ganache I sprinkled toasted chopped pecans on top. A very satisfying treat. Also, I sprayed the donut mold with cooking spray for easy removal and also as another reviewer noted, I cooked the donut a little more once it was out of the mold.

Thank you for the delicious and easy recipe. I used the oven for 22 minutes instead of air fryer and came out really good and tasty. The sugar and cinnamon coating was the best coating ever for sweets craving.

Hi can these be done in the oven? How long would you suggest and at what temp? They look amazing and want to try them this weekend. Thanks

Really like these and they are yum. What I did is when they were cool, I took them out of the silicone cup and cooked on the other side for a few mins as I liked them slightly crispy on both side. When I do them again, I'll reduce the amount of eythoril as perhaps too sweet for me. I couldn't get the dent for the donut however.

Delicious and easy! Made a dozen for my neighbors and they are hooked. I have used this recipe to make the donuts and muffins as well.

Quick n easy low carb snack! I wasn't sure but this is well worth it. I used the oven instead of an air fryer 21 minutes did the trick. Nice light cinnamon flavor. I did the melted butter, cinnamon and splenda on the outside. Don't need it. When. I added everything I came up with 7.7 carbs. Still worth it to cure that crave.

A really good recipe to cure that carb urge. I have an air fryer setting on my Samsung oven so I was able to make them in a nonstick donut pan. It only held 6 but still came out good. The next time I will make sure to grease the pan well, especially around the center, even though it was a “nonstick” pan.

I have the same oven and was very pleased with this recipe. I make them quite frequently.

I really enjoyed the flavor of these. I made a double batch and added hersheys unsweetened cocoa in the 2nd batch. My grandbabies are all allergic to gluten so this was a treat for them too

This recipe really interests me. I haven't made it yet, but have a question. I am wondering if part of the almond flour can be replaced with psyllium seed powder for even fewer carbs?
