This Keto dessert hummus has all the flavors of a pumpkin pie with a fraction of the effort. It is sweet and nutty, perfect as a dip or filling. The hummus is quick and easy to make, using 5 ingredients only. Other than soaking the cashews, you only need 5 minutes of active time to prepare this pumpkin hummus. Traditional hummus is made primarily of chickpeas, which are not Keto-friendly. All the remaining ingredients are Low-Carb and compliment the texture and flavor of the hummus. This hummus uses cashews instead of chickpeas, making for the ultimate replacement. It is pumpkin flavored, containing pumpkin puree, spice, maple-flavored syrup, and tahini.

  • Step 1

    Place the cashews in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Soak overnight or up to 12 hours. Drain the water and rinse the cashews.

    Transfer the cashews to a high-power blender. Add the water, pumpkin puree, tahini, pumpkin pie spice, maple-flavored syrup, and salt. Blend for 2-3 minutes.

    Scrape off the sides of the blender. Blend for another 2-3 minutes until smooth. Taste the hummus and adjust the sweetness.
