Keto BBQ Sauce

10 ratings

BBQ sauce is not only a great accompaniment to meat and low carb fries, but also makes a great salad dressing and marinade.

This simple keto BBQ sauce is free from artificial ingredients and preservatives and is a great addition to your keto dinner table.

The sauce is versatile so you can make it as per the recipe and add more seasonings to taste.

Looking forward to trying this! I too will be using anything else but xylitol as it is toxic to my dogs. If it can kill them, I think perhaps I also don't want to eat that! But otherwise sounds delicious!

I used Erithoyl with mink fruit, and it was good. Just add it small amounts slowly to taste, so it isn't over sweet.

It is a sweetener. Just a note that it is poisonous to pets. I don’t keep it around. More sweeteners to choose from

I deleted the cinnamon and xylitol. I used liquid sucralose. I don’t remember how many drops. I added it last and did it to taste.

          Sucralose is not keto friendly

I freeze all my leftover sauces in ice cube trays. After frozen put in marked freezer bags. Easier to unthaw what you need.

Spicy and nice! I think i added cayenne instead of paprika but for our family this is PERFECT!

It's a good sauce. A little in the spict side for me but I added more tomato puree and and it tastes almost exactly like regular bbq sauce.

Xylitol is dangerous for pets, so I avoid it.

I can't see why not but I cannot say for sure if it's less or more sweet than xylitol, so you may need to adjust accordingly.
