Lemon Peel Or Zest Raw

Thyme, Fresh

Vegetable Broth, Bouillon Or Consomme

Step 1
Thinly slice the cabbage, onion and garlic. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add the cabbage, onion, garlic, lemon zest and thyme. Stir well to combine and sweat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.Step 2
Add the stock and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce to a steady simmer, cover and cook gently for 10 minutes stirring occasionally until the cabbage is soft and no liquid remains. Serve hot.

Pretty nasty for cabbage. Something doesn’t work with the lemon and thyme. Not very flavorful.
