In a food processor, combine almond flour, 1/3 cup brown sweetener, and baking powder together.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Add in the eggs, lemon juice, coconut milk, vanilla extract and sea salt. Pulse into a smooth batter.
    Step 3
  • Step 4

Add poppyseeds and gently fold in with a spatula.
    Step 4
  • Step 5

Spoon batter the donut molds so they are ¾ of the way full, keeping in mind they will rise and you want to avoid the center from being filled as it rises in the oven.

Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
    Step 6
  • Step 7

Allow to cool completely in the pan before attempting to remove the donuts.

I wonder if this will work in my cake pop maker?

They should! Just grease the cake pop maker well with avocado oil.

Should these be left out or refrigerated ? How long will they last after making ? They are good but I think I'll alter the recipe a bit seems like almond flour is overpowering.

Poor editing and submission. I expect more from a service that I pay for. No indication of amount of poppy seeds, not nutrient count for them.

I really liked these but they weren’t lemony enough. I even added lemon zest. Next time I’m adding more zest.

Look for "True Lemon" in the baking aisle, usually upper shelf by sweeteners. Each packet is the equivalent of a wedge of lemon. I add it to cupcakes, frosting and even use it in my water. Great lemon flavor!

These are good. When I made them this time I forgot I was out of lemons so I sub’d lime juice and it was great. Developer of this recipe should edit it to add the poppyseed & it’s measure (1T). It is given in the remarks but not in the recipe.

This recipe was added to my meal plan by the generator. Problem is, there’s no poppyseeds listed in the ingredients! Therefore it does not put poppyseeds on the grocery list or include them in the nutrition report! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I made lemon poppyseed muffins, no brown sugar. I put this recipe’s icing on top! 😋

I'm at 5500 ft elevation and the donut pan was a dark non-stick. At most it took only 12 minutes to cook.

How many does this make and can someone fix the nutritionals? It says it makes 8 @ 1.3 oz. yet the nutritionals say 1 lb. yield. Does not add up. Please correct-we need the right per each. Thanks!
