Keto Hot Fudge Ice Cream Sundae

This Keto take on the classic hot fudge sundae will blow your mind. It consists of vanilla ice cream combined with rich chocolate fudge, topped with crushed nuts and whipped cream. The warm sauce melts the ice cream slightly, creating an irresistibly creamy treat. The added crunch from the walnuts is beautiful against the rich creaminess.

Is ice cream sundae Keto?

Most ice cream sundaes are not Keto-friendly because they're loaded with sugar and carbs. This homemade Keto ice cream sundae is perfectly suitable for a Low-Carb diet because it is prepared with sugar-free sweeteners and Keto-friendly ingredients. The hot fudge sauce is made from heavy cream, powdered erythritol, sugar-free chocolate, and vanilla extract. It is served over your choice of Keto-friendly ice cream brand and topped off with crushed nuts and whipped cream.

What type of ice cream can you use in this Keto hot fudge sundae?

There are plenty of brands that make Keto-friendly ice cream. Choose your preferred one and use it to make this delicious sundae. You can also find many easy ice cream recipes here on the Carb Manager app. We paired the hot fudge sauce with vanilla ice cream for a classic sundae, but you can serve it with the flavor of your choice.

How to store the remaining hot chocolate fudge?

Hot chocolate fudge is a decadent addition to any dessert, not just ice cream. You can store the leftover sauce in a jar and keep it in the fridge. Refrigerating the hot fudge will cause it to solidify, but you can melt it again by placing the jar in a bowl of hot water. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then shake the jar. Pour this tasty sauce on anything you wish.

45g carbs? That's more than double my daily carb intake of 20g. I suppose I could replace the walnuts for less carby almonds and a smaller portion. I'm going to save this and see if I can't modify it to see if I can make it truly keto friendly. While the ingredients are keto friendly, the carb count is not . Newbies don't need to think that this is okay.

5 net carbs. Subtract the fiber and sugar alcohol from the carbs to get the keto carb count
