Haloumi Cheese by Papouis
4-½ ounce
Cherry Tomato
2 cherry
Olive Oil
2 teaspoon
Red Onion
1 teaspoon
Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon
Arugula
¼ cup
Salt, Sea Salt
⅛ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Carefully cut the halloumi into two even slices. Add the cheese to a dry skillet over a medium/high heat and fry for 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown. Set aside.Step 2
Whilst the halloumi is cooking, finely dice the tomatoes and add to a small mixing bowl along with the onion and arugula. Toss to combine.Step 3
Add the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and stir well.Step 4
Spoon the salad onto one slice of the halloumi.Step 5
Top with the remaining halloumi slice to serve.
