Well.... it doesn't taste like a radish. However, it definitely does not pass for a potato either. Good try, though.

Try cutting them in 1/4’s boil in water for 7-8 minutes then sauté in butter and garlic till the brown and start to crisp.

Why can’t we just call them roasted radish

I agree, if you call it roasted radish, it can’t be compared to potatoes. No one will eat these as potatoes and br satisfied. BUT call them what they are and voila! An excellent side dish!

Surprisingly amazing with steak. Roasted on parchment paper and just a hair longer for a crispier texture. Will make again!

Not a fan. Roasted till they had the same fork feel of a roasted potatoes but just didn't taste like one. Not sure what we did as I was hopeful that this would work out as I really miss potatoes.

Make the blue or purple potato…whatever color they are, good for you and taste the most like the potato we are used to eating.

Roasting long enough definitely took that punch out of the radish. Was great and never would have thought to prepare this way!

I put the radishes in a plastic bag, add a little Olive Oil, sprinkle with season salt and shake them. Air Fry them. 390 degrees, 6 minutes then shake basket and cook another 5 minutes. I use them for lunch and dinner sides and as hash browns for breakfast.

Amazing! Great substitute for potatoes. Smelled wonderful, tasted really good too. The first one I tasted was slightly bitter, so I cooked them longer, as suggested. Amazing, no bitter taste at all. I dipped them into a little keto ranch...so yummy! Thank you for posting this recipe 💖

The recipe says it is for four servings. So that would be 1/4 of the radishes for a serving.

I have never roasted radishes but I have put them in stews many times and love how they take on the flavors of the meat (sort of like potatoes will). The red color fades away in the stew and no one knew they weren't potatoes. I am going to try this.

Hey guys pro tip: if you want an awesome crisp- put your sheet tray in the oven as it preheats. When you place the radish on a hot surface it starts crisping immediately. Make sure to move the radish around halfway thru cooking, this allows the other side of the radishes to get browned too. I ALWAYS did this when I worked in restaurants and hotels and was never disappointed. Note: please PLEASE be extra careful when handling the hot sheet tray! Burns suck. Alot.
