Keto Air Fryer BBQ Beef Jerky
This Keto beef jerky is marinated in BBQ seasonings then air fried until dried to that perfect chewy jerky texture. This makes a great high protein Keto snack option. Perfect to grab and go on busy days.
Keto Air Fryer Beef Jerky Ingredients
This Keto jerky uses sirloin strips marinated in BBQ style seasonings. The beef is coated in a blend of tamari sauce, garlic powder, mustard powder, smokey paprika, earthy cumin, a little tomato sauce and some sweet maple flavored syrup. There is no need to add any additional salt to the recipe as this is provided by the tamari sauce.
Tips
Keto beef jerky is a versatile snack - perfect for experimenting with your favorite flavorings. If you don’t fancy BBQ spices, why not try your favorite Asian spice blend? Be sure to adjust your macros to account for any ingredients swaps.
Where possible we recommend using grass-fed beef.

Step 1
Slice the beef and add to a mixing bowl ensuring they are all of a relatively even size. Drizzle over the syrup, tomato sauce and tamari sauce. Sprinkle over the dried seasonings. Use your hands to mix together well, thoroughly coating the beef in the seasonings and liquids. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinade.Step 2
Remove the beef from the fridge. Shake any excess liquid off the beef strips and arrange in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Set the basket in the air fryer. Heat the air fryer to 180 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for 90 minutes.Step 3
Remove the basket from the air fryer. The beef should be firm in texture yet still a little tender. If you wish for a chewier jerky you can cook for a further 30 minutes or until your desired consistency is reached.

Would not even rate this, I really think you need to look at the timings & temp and maybe try a dehydration rather than air frying??
