OMG! I was real low on fat so I tried this. I don’t like chocolate so I did a drop of lemon extract instead. So friggin good? The Mayo sounded weird, but let me tell you….game changer over cream cheese.

Could I substitute the coconut flour for almond flour?

Absolutely. They are both fabulous. The almond flour gives it more depth like a”real” waffle.

I do like this recipe, I was able to use liquid eggs and avocado mayo to reduce the calories.

I crave crispness. Mine were not crisp. What do you do to make them crunchy?

Personally, I think the stated carb count on this recipes nutritional section is highly suspicious for being inaccurate. With the name brand ingredients I have on hand it's no where close to 70 grams of carbs, net; nor 10 grams net for the entire recipe.

Coconut flour is totally keto friendly and all of the other ingredients are pretty high in fat and have no carbs. You can eat keto but still enjoy things you love, like waffles, if you adjust what types of flours you’re using snd don’t load up on the real sugary toppings and syrups.

It appears that this waffle is made in a big waffle maker, not the Dash. Judging by the ingredients, I would think this makes 4 mini chaffles not 2 which would bring it down to 1.9 net carbs.

                3.6 net carbs seems reasonable.

@frommetovuu Doesn't the 'ch' of chaffle literally borrow from 'CHeese'? I don't see an 'h' in waffle nor coconut flour...

Chaffles do not have to have cheese. The “chaffle” mostly stands for the coconut flour waffle.

I was wondering what a chaffle was? A waffle with cheese? This looks like a waffle recipe!
