Ingredients
Chorizo
2-½ ounce
Olive Oil
2 tablespoon
Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tablespoon
Garlic
1 clove
Chicken Broth, Bouillon Or Consomme, Ready-to-serve Can
½ cup
Cabbage, Green, Raw
⅓ medium - head - approx 5 3/4" diameter
White Onion
¼ medium - 2 1/2" diameter

Step 1
Thinly slice the cabbage into strips. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Dice the onion, slice the garlic and roughly chop the chorizo. Add to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes until the onion and garlic are tender and the chorizo is golden brown and has released its oils.Step 2
Add the sliced cabbage to the pan along with the vinegar and stir everything well to combine. Cook for 4-5 minutes to allow the cabbage to soften a little.Step 3
Add the stock and stir well. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage is tender and all the liquid has been absorbed.

I used the mexican chorizo from our butcher and it came out great.

Is this Mexican chorizo or Spanish chorizo? Totally different products; it should specify.

The instructions say to chop the chop the chorizo and cook it. So it doesn't appear to matter which one you use since it's being cooked.
