Keto Nut Bars

10 ratings

It’s nice to have a simple, but high calorie snack that is easy to take on-the-go. These bars are perfect as they are high in super healthy fats. This recipe was created so you can throw coconut flakes, walnuts, almonds, sesame seeds, pecans and more into a food processor...blitz and bake in a pan! I love the addition of some dark chocolate squares if you’re looking for a chocolate fix. There is also some cinnamon and black pepper which gives the bars a little spice! These would be great for breakfast too!

Loved these..but cut the sweetener back to less than 1/4 c to avoid the fake sweet taste.

Do you think monk fruit would still give the fake taste?

I should have read this comment before I made them. The tmfake sweet taste is horrible. Otherwise they'd probably be great!

Is the serving size 1/4 of one of the 16 bars?

Recipe only makes 16 servings. Last instruction says cut into 16 even squares. So serving size is 1 of those squares.

The recipe is 16 servings. The recipe states to cut into 16 equal bars. Therefore, 1 serving= 1 bar

Costco has a bag of individually wrapped 85% chocolate. Can't remember what the brand name is but look in the candy section.

I’ve made these twice. The second time I used black sesame seeds and it was just as good. These are such a great filling snack.

Black pepper? I've made these several times with many different varieties of nuts and spices. Never added the black pepper though because that sounds so strange. What is the reason for the black pepper? Do others add it and do you taste it?

Sounds intriguing to me. Black pepper also raises metabolic rate. "Black pepper contains piperine, a compound which helps to enhance metabolic performance and prevents fat accumulation in the body. The spice also increases the concentration of good cholesterol. This round spice is a thermogenic food, which helps to speed up the metabolic process and burn calories more quickly.May 6, 2019" https://m.timesofindia.com › life-style How to have black pepper (kali mirch) for weight loss - The Times of India
