Keto Zucchini Noodles with Basil Walnut Pesto

13 ratings

This is an excellent low carb side dish that’s ready in 15 minutes! While many people love using a spiralizer to make vegetable noodles, using a vegetable peeler is a great way to make zucchini noodles very quickly. Simply cut the ends off of a medium-sized zucchini and make long strips lengthwise with the peeler. It’s recommended to peel until the seeds start showing, so as to not have seeds in a lot of the noodles. This pesto is a nice alternative to a typical pesto because it uses walnuts instead of pine nuts. Feel free to add some grated cheese to the pesto or for garnish, like romano or parmesan. Bon appetit!

That can be difficult! Sometimes where my "scroll" habitually is on the screen, it triggers menu items I'm not trying to access. Their app designer gets a D- grade for that... however enough people must have the same issue that at the top of the recipe, on mobile device view ports, there is a text-badec menu to skip without scrolling to the various sections: ingredients, reviews, recipe, logging, etc. Best wishes to you

I'm new at this, have a couple questions... Can you please clarify one serving of this recipe cooked? Also, I don't understand the sugar grams in this recipe... is it from the walnuts??? Silly question but i was surprised to see the high amount of sugar grams in the nutritional info. Am i getting this all wrong?
