Keto French Toast Sticks

Keto French Toast Sticks are made using our Keto Egg Loaf recipe. The Keto Egg Loaf is cut into French Toast sticks and then seared on each side in ghee. Keto French Toast sticks is a great kid-friendly Keto recipe that can be served with low-carb fruit like blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries and a side of monk fruit syrup.

How is Keto French Toast Sticks made?

The sticks are made from our Keto Egg Loaf recipe. Once the egg loaf has completely cooled down, the loaf is cut into slices reminiscent of French toast sticks. Each piece is seared in ghee until lightly browned on each side.

What kind of syrup should I use?

Please use any sugar-free syrup like Lankato syrup.

Can I freeze French toast sticks?

Yes! Please freeze the French toast sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet making sure the sticks are not touching. Once they are frozen, peel them from the sheet and store them in an airtight bag.

  • Step 1

    Cut the egg loaf into a french toast stick shape. Preheat a skillet over medium heat until hot. Add one tablespoon of butter at a time. Add ⅓ of the egg loaf sticks to the pan and cook them on the first side for about 1 minute. Be sure to turn the heat down a little, so they do not get too browned. Flip and repeat on the other side until lightly golden brown.

    Repeat with the remaining sticks adding one tablespoon of butter for each batch. Serve hot French toast sticks with sugar-free maple syrup and fruit, if desired.
