3-ingredient Vanilla Keto Ice cream
This 3 ingredient Keto ice cream is just as good as any ice cream you ever had. It is sugar-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. This recipe is super easy to prepare and requires 3 staple ingredients.
To make this vanilla Keto ice cream, start out by making sugar-free condensed milk by reducing the heavy cream and sweetener over low heat. This component helps yield a smooth and stable ice cream. Then, whip the heavy cream and vanilla to stiff peaks. Finally, fold the condensed milk in the whipped cream and freeze the mixture.
Do you need an ice cream maker to make homemade ice cream?
You can absolutely make Keto ice cream without an ice cream maker, but having one sure does make it easier. Nevertheless, no-churn ice cream can yield a super creamy frozen treat if prepared correctly. After placing the ice cream container in the freezer, whisk the mixture every 20-30 minutes for the first 2-3 hours. This method prevents crystals from forming and yields a smooth ice cream.
How to store this Keto ice cream?
It is super easy to store this low-carb ice cream. Place the container in the freezer for up to 3 months. But since this ice cream has no stabilizers or additives, it might have a more rigid texture than regular ice cream. Simply take the ice cream out of the freezer 10-20 minutes before eating it to allow it to thaw.
What additions can you add to this ice cream?
The great thing about vanilla ice cream is that it can take on any additional flavors. Throw in some sugar-free chocolate chips, crumbled cookie pieces, or fresh berries. You can also swirl in some sugar-free caramel or chocolate sauce. The options are endless.

I have used Swerve and my Cuisinart ice cream maker with great results. Topped with coconut flakes, strawberry slices, walnuts and pure dark chocolate chips. Soft serve day 1....I make a quarter batch for 2 people. Amazing

So far so good. I didn’t use vanilla for flavoring instead I used pralines and cream with almond flavors. Can’t wait to taste it in the AM.

There are a couple brands on Amazon. All the alternatives to sugar are on there. I live in a very remote area so only through Amazon can I find these type of food products.

If you live in the USA you can find Allulose at Trader Joe’s … their brand dissolves nicely, has no aftertaste and is not too sweet… 😄

“Allulose dissolves just like sugar! Get it in powdered form for optimal dissolving, but even the granulated or crystallized versions dissolve quite well. Use powdered or liquid sweeteners, which dissolve better. Try powdered erythritol, powdered monk fruit blend, or liquid stevia.” - Wholesum Yum

If you are in the UK, you cannot purchase except through a US website as it has not been cleared as yet (problems with tummy upsets and causing dramatic blood spikes). But my guess would be that you are American so I would suggest looking online. However, most dry substitutes will probably work but you may need to play with amounts so it doesn't end up too sweet.
