Ingredients

  • Hamburger or ground beef, 90% lean

  • Sesame Seeds, Hulled, Toasted, Unsalted

Recipe Steps

  • Step 1

    Thinly slice the radishes, onion and mushrooms. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a medium heat. Add the beef, cooking until browned all over. Add the onion.

    Add the mushrooms and radishes. Continue to stir fry over a medium/high heat for 3-4 minutes more until the vegetables are fork tender.

    Add the tamari sauce, sesame oil and chili flakes. Stir well to combine and cook for just a minute to heat through.

    Divide the beef stir fry between the four lettuce cups and scatter with the toasted sesame seeds to serve.

    I just tried this recipe with my daughter, it was exceptional. The only criticism we had was that the Romain lettuce could not hold up to the beef. We decided to try Bibb lettuce the next time. As for the flavor it was so delicious.
