Ingredients
- Ground Beef - ½ pound 
- Oregano, Dried - 1 teaspoon 
- Garlic Powder - 0.5 teaspoon 
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon 
- Tomato - 1 small - 2 2/5" diameter 
- Romaine Lettuce - 8 innerleaf 
- Cheddar Cheese - ½ cup, grated 
- Salt, Sea Salt - ¼ teaspoon 
- Black Pepper - ⅛ teaspoon

- Step 1 Add the ground beef to a mixing bowl along with the oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Step 2 Mix all ingredients together well using your hands and then divide into four even patties.
- Step 3 Heat the olive oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the beef patties to the pan, frying until golden brown all over and completely cooked through. About 8 minutes.
- Step 4 Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle each patty with 1/4 of the cheese.
- Step 5 To serve, arrange each patty on a lettuce leaf. Top with a slice of tomato. Top with the remaining lettuce leaf and secure with a toothpick.
