  • Step 1

In a bowl, combine the canned tuna, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, diced red bell pepper, and lemon juice.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

To prepare the rollups, lay out two large, clean romaine lettuce leaves. Trim away the thick vein at the bottom and any brown parts of the leaves. Lay the provolone cheese evenly across the leaves. Distribute the tuna salad filling across the cheese as shown in the photo. Leave space at the edges of the leaves.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Gently roll the romaine leaves long ways, keeping the seam underneath so the rolls stay closed. Slice into bite-sized pieces for serving. Enjoy!

Yummy! I added more herbs (basil & parsley), less mustard, and subbed 1 oz crumbled feta for the provolone. Ate like a dip with baby gem leaves. A keeper!

Love tuna salad! I added a hard boiled egg and a tablespoon of mayo to the recipe and some olives. Again, trying to up the fat content of my lunch to meet the suggested amount of fat for my diet. Delicious and filling!

I loved it too, I didn't add the salt require just a pinch. sodium problems. This was a definate great lunch. I also used starkist tuna in a pouch to get my fats in there. I also dipped ain balsamic vinegarette...hehe

I loved it, my only complaint is that the recipe called for a little too much salt. I always add a lot of spices to my food, so it’s not a huge deal breaker or anything, just something I’ll have to tweak in the future. I loved the ease of storage too, as I work weird hours and have to prep a lot of my food beforehand. I’ll be making it again soon!

I like salt but this was to salty for me. So I recommend you don’t use the salt in the recipe. Also uncooked provolone has a strong flavor if you like that it’s fine. I rated it low because my overall taste buds found it edible but I have to force myself to eat it and I assure you I will not finish it.

I made this exactly as the recipe says and it was yummy. Even my non-keto partner liked it. I was satisfied with only one roll too. Very filling.

2 rollups are 1 serving. The photo shows 1 full serving (2 rolls cut up into pieces).

Looks great! But I’m confused about the serving size. How many ‘bite size’ roll ups can you eat per serving? Is this all ‘one serving’?

Yes. One serving. Two roll ups.

This was actually pretty good. I did adjust the measurements to my taste but I used all of the ingredients listed.

Followed the recipe precisely. Too acidic and salty. Ditch the salt, cut the pepper in half and perhaps reduce the Dijon and add some Mayo. I ruined a perfectly good can of tuna following this recipe. :(

I agree, mustard and lemon to tart and the pepper but my mouth on fire.

Very good. Is each roll up to contain 1oz of cheese? I ate 2 Eliot ups and split the 1 oz of cheese between the two.
