Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese Spread

  • Parmesan Cheese

    Parmesan Cheese

    1 tablespoon, grated

  • Bacon

    Bacon

    2 slice - 6" long

  • Chives

    Chives

    1 tablespoon, cut pieces

  • Walnuts

    Walnuts

    1 tablespoon, chopped

  • Olive Oil

    Olive Oil

    1 teaspoon

  • Black Pepper

  • Step 1

    Add the olive oil to a small pan over a medium heat and cook the bacon until browned and completely crispy. Set aside to cool.

    Whilst the bacon is cooking, add the cream cheese and Parmesan to a mixing bowl and stir well to combine. Transfer to the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up a little.

    Crumble the cooled bacon into a small mixing bowl. Finely chop the chives and the walnuts and add to the bowl with the bacon and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

    Use your hands to form a rough log shape with the cream cheese.

    Tip the bacon mixture out onto a clean work surface or plate and roll the cheese log in the mixture, coating it on all sides.

    Once the cheese is completely covered in the mixture, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
