  • Step 1

    Season the drumsticks with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, lemon zest and olive oil. Use your hands to coat the chicken all over in the seasonings. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Arrange the chicken thighs in an oven proof dish.

    Spoon over the Alabama sauce, spreading it evenly over the chicken pieces. Transfer to the oven to bake for 40-45 minutes until cooked through and golden brown all over. You can transfer to a broiler to crisp the skin further if required.
