  • Step 1

    Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over a low/medium heat. Thinly slice the garlic and add to the skillet, cooking gently until tender.

    Roughly tear the kale leaves into the skillet and add the chili flakes, lemon juice, zest and remaining oil. Season to taste and stir well to combine.

    Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes until the kale is tender, stirring occasionally.

    ❤️❤️❤️ we love this with a hamburger patty on top. I did double the recipe and used more garlic

        I added a little Arugula to the recipe didn’t have a lot of kale on hand and substituted basil and regular pepper instead of chili pepper, only because I can’t have the hot pepper.

                I live in the UK and we don't have many of the brands you use. This is confusing and not very helpful! No stars yet, I only downloaded the app a few minutes ago, so I do not know it yet, apart from the brands!

                  My goodness! Kale is available everywhere, you do not have to get the exact brand to complete the recipe. Just grab some kale and go for it, please don’t complain about a simple ingredient. Seems silly!

                  This recipe uses primarily generic vegetables that are readily accessible in the UK, so I don't see what the complaint is here. Seems like you meant to leave a review on the app itself rather than this individual person's recipe.
