These energy balls are full of very healthy, filling fats like coconut oil, almond butter and chia seeds which are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. The energy balls are easy to pull together in under a half hour and are to be stored in the fridge until ready to eat.

  • Sweet Drops Liquid Stevia by Sweet Leaf

  • Almond Extract

  • Chia Seeds

    2-½ teaspoon, whole pieces

  • Coconut, Dried, Shredded Or Flaked, Unsweetened

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl, mix together the coconut oil, almond butter and cacao powder. Mix together well, heating it in the microwave if almond butter or coconut oil is too solid.

    Add in almond flour, coconut flour, stevia (about 1/2 teaspoon), extract, cacao powder and chia seeds.

    Mix well and place in the fridge until firm.

    Roll balls into 1 oz pieces, rolling them in coconut flakes and place in a single layer on a baking sheet and firm them in the fridge until ready to eat!

    Could you substitute chopped hazelnuts or walnuts for chia seeds as I’m not a fan of chia? If so, what quantity? Also, any idea what the macros might change to? Thx!

          Made with 1Tbsp. of powdered Erythritol instead of stevia. Delicious!

            These things are gross. Dont use the liquid drops. Gives a really bad aftertaste. They do as theyre supposed to as far as energy though. Just wish they tasted better. Super easy to make
