Keto Breve

One of our favorite drinks to purchase from our local coffee shop is a breve! However, did you know that it is super easy to make at home? All you need is a milk frother which is worth the investment if you love a good latte. It is low-carb and Keto-friendly, which is perfect around the holidays! The additional fat in the latte is wonderful when you don’t mind a couple extra calories. The heavy cream in the latte is very low in net carbs. It is also a blank canvas for a variety of flavors, especially with so many sugar-free syrup options nowadays!

Can you add sweetener?

Yes! Feel free to add any kind of sugar-free syrup like vanilla or caramel to this. However, you should definitely try this recipe without any additional sweetener (because it is so good!).

Why does this recipe use cream and not milk?

Heavy cream is lower in net carbs than whole milk, so you can safely add healthy fats to your drink.

How should you brew the coffee?

You should brew the coffee using a traditional coffee maker (but add extra grounds to make the coffee strong), a French press, or an espresso machine.

How can you serve this beverage?

Feel free to pair Keto breve with other holiday-inspired treats like Keto spritz cookies https://www.carbmanager.com/recipe/keto-spritz-cookies.
