Keto Air Fried Chicken Cutlets
These Keto chicken cutlets can be prepared quickly and fried to perfection in your air fryer. Thin-sliced chicken breasts are seasoned on one side before dredged in a simple flour and egg batter. A little heavy cream added to the egg helps include some Keto fat in the final product. These chicken cutlets are small enough to use for a variety of purposes, and they’re not so thick that they’ll add large amounts of protein to your meals. If you want more protein, you can easily increase your serving by adding an extra cutlet to your meal. Let the chicken cutlets fully cool before storing them, and you can keep them in meal prep containers for up to 5 days. Not all air fryers are the same, so keep an eye on your chicken while it cooks. Your cooking time may be a little longer or a little shorter than what is directed.
Suggestions For Use
There are a lot of things you can do with these Keto air fried chicken cutlets. For low-protein meals, you can enjoy one of these chicken cutlets as is with a Keto dipping sauce and a vegetable side dish. The Carb Manager Keto Cheese Sauce or Keto Alfredo Sauce recipes add tons of Keto fats to any protein and are user favorites on the app. Choose from any of Carb Manager’s low-carb side dishes, soups, or salads to pair with the chicken. Speaking of salads, you can slice these chicken cutlets to enjoy over a bed of leafy greens as well. If you like chicken sandwiches, just search the Carb Manager Keto Sandwich Bread recipe to make low-carb bread.
Cooking In The Oven
If you don’t own an air fryer, no worries. You can make this easy Keto recipe with your oven too. It will only take a little more time for preheating and cooking the chicken. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Follow the directions to prepare the chicken cutlets. Instead of 15 minutes, bake the chicken cutlets on one side for 20 minutes. When you flip the chicken, it should need another 10-15 minutes to become golden and crispy in the oven.

Step 1
Turn on your air fryer and preheat it to 350 degrees for at least 5 minutes, or you can preheat it during the prep of this recipe. Line the air fryer tray with parchment paper, if necessary, and set it aside. Cut thin-sliced chicken breast into pieces about 1 ½ ounces in weight. Cubes of chicken breast will not work for this recipe, so make sure the chicken is pounded flat to a ¼” thickness if necessary. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.Step 2
Arrange the paleo flour spread out on a clean plate or flat surface. You may add extra paleo flour to ensure the chicken is fully coated when you bread it. In a shallow bowl, whisk an egg together with the heavy cream. When your air fryer is preheated, dredge each piece of chicken by coating them in a light layer of flour. Dust off excess flour and dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture. Let excess egg mixture drip off before dredging the chicken pieces again in the flour. Arrange the breaded chicken on the air fryer tray.Step 3
Cook the chicken cutlets for 15 minutes. Then, flip the cutlets over and cook for another 10 minutes in the air fryer or until the breading looks fully cooked through and golden. Let the chicken cutlets cool for a couple of minutes before serving. You can eat the chicken as is with Keto side dishes for a full meal or use the chicken for making Keto sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The introductory paragraphs to this recipe include suggestions for using the chicken cutlets.
