Ingredients

  • Cabbage

    ⅓ cup, grated

  • Salt, Sea Salt

  • Black Pepper

  • Step 1

    Heat the oil in a skillet over a low/medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until golden brown all over and crisp. Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside.

    Add the onion and garlic to the pan and sweat gently until tender.

    Roughly slice the cabbage into strips and add to the pan. Toss with the garlic and onion and cook until tender and wilted.

    Season the cabbage to taste and add the Parmesan to the pan, stirring through to melt.

    Scatter the cheddar cheese over the cabbage and let it sit on the heat until it starts to melt.

    Crumble over the cooked bacon to serve.

      It was pretty good. I added an oz of fine sliced ribeye that I had left over and some garlic salt too.
