Made this as a quick lunch on the go. Used Walden Farms Mayo. Was good, but drain the kraut really well. It kind of caused the cheese to get soggy. Also, I used Superkrauts Sriracha Kraut for a little zip.

Wonder if kimchi would work, as a substitute for the kraut!

Why don’t you use Primal or homemade mayo to keep the carbs down?

Another reason to make homemade mayo, check the ingredients label on store mayo...contains soybean oil, canola oil...both bad for the gut

Chopped the pickles into the sauce and added smoked paprika. Great way to cure that Reuben craving!

The shopping list says onion powder and the recipe says garlic powder. I used garlic and used coleslaw instead. Was great for a snack

I would suggest making homemade mayo from avocado oil and egg yolk or Primal brand made with avocado oil ... 0 carbs for a tablespoon. Regular mayo has sugar, chemicals and grain based oil.

I wonder if canned corn beef in European countries comes in a round can? , then chill and slice a round slice. US canned corned beef is in rectangular can. US deli slice is the shape of beef.

I thought the same thing-that corned beef does not look like corned beef!
