  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.

    Slice each strip of bacon into quarters and arrange across the oven tray.

    Whisk together the syrup, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.

    Brush each piece of bacon with the spiced syrup and transfer to the oven to bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown, crisp and cooked through. The bacon will crisp further on cooling.

    If the recipe is two servings that means it's two slices of bacon per serving which in nutritional you are calling 88 calories which somehow does not seem right my packages of bacon are about a hundred calories per slice of bacon
