  • Step 1

Preheat an oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat sprayed liberally with non-stick cooking spray. Combine the almond flour, ground flax seeds, eggs, rosemary and sea salt together in a bowl.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Place dough onto the silicone mat. Spray another silicone mat liberally with non-stick cooking spray and place it on top of the dough.
    Step 3
  • Step 4

Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out as thin as possible, spreading it out to the sides of the baking sheet. Remove the top silicone mat occasionally to spray with more cooking spray during the rolling process. If you don’t have silicone mats parchment paper will do.
    Step 4
  • Step 5

Remove the top silicone mat and cut the dough into 1 ½” by 1 ½” pieces. Sprinkle with additional sea salt to your taste.
    Step 5
  • Step 6

Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool until you are able to handle it. Break the crackers apart, turn the oven off and allow the crackers to sit in the oven until the oven has cooled down. This will help the crackers to continue to crisp and dry.

We got 28 crackers from 1 batch of dough. Recipe says yield is 4 servings. If the recipe numbers are accurate, 1 serving = 7 crackers. Tasty.

I was not a fan of these. Definitely a very weird taste and texture. I was hoping they would be like wheat thins but they were not even close.

Added a bit of almond flour at end. Parchment on bottom, sprayed olive oil on saran wrap to roll out. Peeled right off!

Mine was too sticky, tried a couple of times to roll it out and it didn't work. Had to throw batch away. Waste of money and time, very disappointed.

Yeah mine is very sticky, I am baking it with parchment paper on top and bottom because I couldn’t take the top piece off lol, hoping I can after it’s cooked!

Is there another type of flower I could use if I am allergic to nuts?

I think these crackers were easy to make and very good. I like to make a bigger batch because my husband and son like them too. I divide the crackers up into servings size so if it says serves 4, I know 1/4 of the finished recipe is my 1 serving.

Air tight container, not in the fridge. Will last 5-7 days, maybe a bit longer depending on the humidity.
