Keto BBQ Pulled Pork

18 ratings

This BBQ flavored pulled pork is so simple to make and requires minimal cooking effort! Once you have seasoned the pork, the slow cooker takes over until the pork is tender and falling apart.

The perfect filling for lettuce wraps, as a topping for keto nachos, or served with some smokey slaw, this slow cooked pork is one to add to your weekly meal plans.

All those spices did nothing for the meat except for the outer layer. Glad I intend to use it for BBQ pork.

An alternative to the Balsamic vinegar which is 4 carbs, use 2TBS sugar free syrup, and Red Wine vinegar.

Modified it using pork loin and used instant pot with 1/4 cup water and a tiny bit of olive oil and liquid smoke. The water helped the spices from burning but was just enough to scrape up bits in bottom of pot when done. Grateful to have bbq without the processed sugar free bottled sauce. Needs heat so next time I’ll add cayenne. 👍 I wonder where all the carbs are from though? 🤔

Protein can add carbs in the body, other than that I don't know.

Hi, depending on your macro count for the day - cauliflower rice or a keto salad would go well as a side.

Hi, the recipe makes 4 servings in total, so divide the pork by 4 to make 1 serving.

The longer it cooks the more tender it gets.

Hi, it could work in the recipe but these are not keto friendly ingredients. I would not know the macros for this unfortunately.
