Keto Homemade Peanut Butter
Homemade peanut butter is actually very, very, VERY, easy to make at home. All you need is a food processor and 2 ingredients! Use your keto peanut butter as a spread or as an ingredient in your desserts and sauces. The original recipe here makes about 1 ½ cups of peanut butter.

Step 1
Place peanuts in a food processor and pulse until the peanuts are finely ground down. Scrape the processor, and turn it on. Leave the processor grinding the peanuts until it turns into a fine paste.Step 2
Scrape the food processor down again. With the processor on, drizzle in the olive oil. At this point, you can salt your peanut butter to taste.Step 3
Store your peanut butter in an airtight container in your refrigerator. Add more olive oil to make the peanut butter pliable when cold, or simply warm your peanut butter to make it spreadable.

Almond butter is also yummy!! Pretty much any nut butter is yummy. I've made many different nut butters in my Pampered Chef Cooking Blender and they've all been amazing!! 😁

I have always just used dry roasted peanuts and no oil. Does that make much of a difference?
recipewriter 5 years ago
It is simply a consistency thing, plus the oil adds fat for the keto diet.
