Ingredients

  • Chorizo

    Chorizo

    1-¾ ounce

  • Mozzarella Cheese

    Mozzarella Cheese

    1-½ cup, grated

  • Garlic Powder

    Garlic Powder

    ¼ teaspoon

  • Black Pepper

    Black Pepper

    ⅛ teaspoon

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  • Step 2

    Finely chop the chorizo and add to a mixing bowl with the mozzarella, pepper and garlic powder. Stir well to combine.

    Take a heaped tablespoon of the cheese and chorizo and place on the lined baking tray. Repeat with the remaining mixture - you should get 10 piles of cheese and chorizo from the mixture.

    Transfer to the oven to bake for 7-10 minutes until golden and bubbling. Set aside to cool and firm before serving.

          Mexican or Spanish chorizo? Looks like probably Spanish from the context, but in my area Mexican is far more common, and many people don't know that there is any other kind. Please specify.

            They chopped it so seco would work I'm thinking.
