  • Step 1

    Drain the sardines and roughly shred the meat into a food processor, taking care to remove any bones.

    Finely slice the scallion and add to the food processor along with the cream cheese, capers, lemon juice, lemon zest and black pepper. Blend the mixture to combine until you have a course paste.

    Spoon the pate into a large ramekin, smoothing over the surface. Cover and refrigerate for one hour before serving.

      Hi there. What did you eat this late with? I have just discovered sardines! I didn’t like them before because of the skins nd bones, but I bought skinless and boneless. Game changer! This looks yummy. Just wondering what you served it up with?
