Do you need a super simple baked fish recipe? This recipe is for you. Tender, sweet Swai fish, is salted with seasoning salt and flavored with fresh parsley and lemon slices. The fillets are layered into a roasting dish and baked at a high temperature to promote browning and delicious flavor. The entire dish is done within 20 minutes, and you can sit it in the oven and forget about it until it’s ready!

This recipe uses Lawry’s seasoning salt, but feel free to use your favorite seasoning salt.

What kind of fish should I use?

Any white fish fillet will work in this recipe, like tilapia or cod. You may have to cook cod longer, however, due to the thicker fillets.

    ½ medium - 2 1/8" diameter

  • Step 1

    Preheat an oven to 425 F. Place Swai fillets into a roasting pan in a single layer.

    Sprinkle them with the seasoning salt making sure the salt is distributed evenly. It is ok if the salt is on one side of the fish.

    Top the fish with fresh lemon slices and fresh parsley sprigs. Bake the fish for 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and browned on the edges. Serve hot!

    No added fat? I would probably add some fat to at least keep the fish from drying out. Especially if doing keto.
