Keto Deviled Strawberries

20 ratings

It’s all sweet in this “deviled” recipe! These sinfully delicious strawberries are hollowed and filled with a whipped vanilla fluff mixture that anybody could drool over! At your discretion, you can layer on additional flavors, such as unsweetened cocoa powder dusted over the strawberries or a drop of lemon extract added to the filling.

Recipe Steps

  • Step 1

In a stand mixer with a whip attachment, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until you have a stiff whipped cream. Set the whipped cream aside in a bowl for later.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

Wipe you mixing bowl clean and attach the paddle mixer. Blend your cream cheese, scraping the bowl down multiple times, until you have a smooth and pliable mixture. Then, mix in the stevia and continue blending until the cream cheese and sweetener are creamed together.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Use a spatula to fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese by hand. Set aside once fully combined.
    Step 3
  • Step 4

Slice the tops off your strawberries. Remove the cores from each one. An easy way to do this is to use a toothpick to poke holes around the white centers, then use a sharp paring knife to cut through the perforations until the cone-shaped center comes out. (The weight listed in the ingredients is the yield weight of the strawberries AFTER the cores have been removed, about 16 strawberries in the original recipe here)
    Step 4
  • Step 5

Transfer your vanilla fluff mixture to a piping bag. You can attach a cupcake tip to create a stylish dessert filling. Pipe filling into each hollowed strawberry. You can set the filled strawberries in the refrigerator to solidify some or you can enjoy immediately.

This is great for mixed fruit servings. I put in a small glass cup, cantalope, stawberries, bluberries and rasberries. And the wipped vanilla fluff mixture. He loved it. Thank you to who ever made this wonderful recipe up. 5 stars

These were delicious. I sliced a tiny bit off the bottom so they stood up. I also chopped up the removed strawberry and incorporated with the cream cheese. Love the idea of drizzled SF chocolate over.
