Keto Basic Coffee Cubes

Making coffee cubes is a quick and easy way to prep BULLETPROOF® coffee ahead of time. It is a simple preparation of combining various healthy dietary fats and freezing them into portion sizes so they can be easily added to hot coffee and blended.

What kind of dietary fats can you use?

Most dietary fats can work for this, so use your favorites. Dietary fats that can be used are: coconut oil, BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil), ghee, and avocado oil are the most common.

What can you use if you do not have a mold?

You can use mini cupcake liners to make cubes or place the melted mixture in a small container and later cut the block into cubes.

Can you add flavorings?

Sure! If there is a flavor you know you like in your coffee daily, you can add cinnamon, sugar-free syrups, or sweeteners! Coconut milk creamer is another fun option to add.

  • Step 1

    Place butter and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Melt them on HIGH in the microwave in 20-30 second increments until melted. Stir after each heating.

    Pour melted fats into a silicone mold, dividing them equally to make 16 cubes. This will give you flexibility when adding them to your coffee (more or fewer cubes). Freeze until solid.

    They will turn clear to opaque when finished. Then remove them from the mold and store them in a freezer bag in the freezer. They should last at least one month like this.

    When you're ready to drink your creamy coffee, take one cube out of the freezer. Add it to your coffee and stir until melted. Serve immediately!

    I love this but it did cool my coffee. I just reheated the coffee in the mincrowave and blended it

      Or just add a table of butter and a table of coconut oil to you cup add the hot water and stir
