Keto Air Fryer Flour Salted Pecans

These Keto Air Fryer Flour Salted Pecans do not have flour in the name because they contain flour. They are dusted with a “flour salt” made from very finely crushed sea salt in a mortar and pestle. The powder is so finely ground that it looks like flour. Crushing the salt into a fine powder like this allows the salt to coat the pecans’ surface to be perfectly salty in every bite.

What kind of pecans should I use?

Please use raw pecans for this recipe.

Why the very low air fryer temperature?

The lower the temperature nuts are roasted on, the better the flavor development and the longer they will last in an airtight container.

Add the flour salt to the toasted pecans and toss well. They should turn an opaque color as they are now coated with the flour salt. Allow the pecans to cool completely to allow them to crisp (if you can wait that long).
