The Best Keto Detox Smoothie
If you are thinking about starting a Keto detox, then having some healthy smoothie recipes will come in handy. This smoothie is one of the best out there because it is tasty, nutritious, and easy to prepare. It has an appetizing bright red color that comes from the beetroot. This Keto detox smoothie is loaded with vegetables, greens, and heart-healthy seeds; it has everything you need in a single sip.
What makes this Keto detox smoothie the best?
This Keto beverage is filled with raw vegetables and greens to achieve a high concentration of nutrients, minerals, and fiber. Beets, for instance, have cleansing properties and may help fight inflammation. Ginger is loaded with antioxidants, and chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The lemon juice and celery add a refreshing touch to the smoothie and bring everything together. Not only is this beverage healthy, but it is also super easy to prepare.
Should you use raw or cooked beets?
Raw beets have a much higher nutritional value than cooked beets. Baking or boiling this vegetable kills its enzymes and nutrients. Simply peel the beetroot, wash it, and roughly chop it.
How can you boost the health benefits of this smoothie?
We like to keep our Keto detox recipes simple and straightforward, but this doesn't mean that you can't add your choice of ingredients to this smoothie. You can add more nutritious leafy greens to this recipe, like kale and parsley. You can also add turmeric powder, spirulina, or maca powder for a boost in nutrients and minerals.
Disclaimer:
Beet juice may cause your stool and urine to turn slightly red because it contains the betalain red pigment. If your urine is too red, you should probably see your doctor because that may be a sign of a problem with your kidneys' filtering system.

Use less ginger. Maybe by half.

Not too bad after the first few mouthfuls. Had to use ground ginger.
