The Best Keto Fat Fueled MCT Coffee
This Keto BULLETPROOF® coffee recipe with BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) is the perfect way to boost your daily fat intake. Our easy Keto BULLETPROOF® coffee is not only quick to prepare but also deliciously rich with cream and a hint of sweetness. This beverage is the perfect way to start your Keto day.
What ingredients make up this Keto MCT coffee?
This Keto BULLETPROOF® coffee is prepared with a base of strong coffee blended with BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) and a little erythritol for sweetness. Heavy cream is then stirred through the coffee for an extra helping of fats and flavor. BULLETPROOF® coffee must be blended in order to emulsify the fats and liquid. We have blended our coffee in an extra-large mug with a handheld stick blender. You can also use a milk frother or a free-standing blender if preferred. Once blended and frothy, the Keto coffee is finished with a dusting of cinnamon.
Here are some tips to help you prepare this Keto coffee:
This Keto BULLETPROOF® coffee recipe uses BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) combined with heavy cream to provide your dose of friendly fats. If you cannot use BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) you can swap this directly for butter or coconut oil. You may also swap the erythritol for your preferred low-carb sweetener or omit it entirely if desired. Always update your macros to account for any changes you have made.
Can you adapt this coffee to a vegan diet?
Absolutely! The only ingredient in this recipe that isn't vegan is the heavy cream. Simply swap it for coconut milk and you'll be good.

Wow this is really good! I don't like a sweet coffee and this recipe is perfect. Full disclosure; I used 4 TB of Nut Pods coconut almond unsweetened Toasted Marshmallow flavor creamer instead of the dairy creamer. Perfectly rich & creamy with a hint of cinnamon. Thank you for this recipe. ;>)

Why am I making 12 ounces coffee when nutrition facts are based on serving weight of 10.5 ounces, how many drink the full 12?

Does this break my intermittent fast
Nephthys a year ago
Taken from the net: One cup of Bulletproof coffee contains about 300 calories, which is a significant amount of energy. However, if you define a fast as abstaining from food, then Bulletproof coffee does not break a fast because it does not contain any carbohydrates or protein that would trigger an insulin response.

It depends on why you're fasting. If you're fasting to lose weight and you want to stay in Ketosis, you're fine with this. If you're doing it to increase your gut health and let your gut rest for extended periods, this will break your fast.

I understand that you need carbs to break your fast. Erythritol has 0 carbs, heavy cream has zero carbs, coffee has zero carbs. Also, under 50 calories is not considered breaking your fast.

Yes, you are consuming calories

Yes, it does. Anything containing a sweetener will break your fast. Stick to black coffee, yea, or water while fasting. 🙏🏼
